Another of AJ's Fables
Hey everyone. Gator's got a bedtime story for ya! This is a parody of the fable "The Scorpion and The Toad." So take a big ol' swig of yer quart of Crocweiser and tuck yerself in while ol' Gator spins a yarn for ya. It was a red hot day in Da Swamp. The Scorpion was carrying a six pack of Crocweiser, and walkin' with his girlfriend when they saw Alligator Jackson sunning himself on the shore. "Hey AJ!" Scorpion said. "How 'bout givin' us a ride over to the other side of the swamp, so we can get to the big party at The Swamplands Bar." "I'm quite tired and am relaxing. I don't feel like swimmin,'" AJ responded. "Well, I'll tell you what. You swim us over and I'll give you half of this six pack." "I know you Scorpion, you're a liar and a drunk. You'll drink those on the way over," AJ accused. "Your bigger than me and I'd be afraid you'd chomp me," scorpion countered. "Well, a beer does sound good right now. Hop On!!!" AJ agreed. AJ took off swimming with the two scorpions on his back. As soon as they started their journey, AJ heard a pop! He didn't think much of it, it was only the first beer openin'. He just kept swimming. Not long after, he heard another pop, and then a third. He started to get concerned, then he heard a fourth. "Scorpion, are you drinkin' the beer you promised me?" AJ boomed. "No, not at all. I can't believe you don't trust me," Scorpion sounded indignant. "I swear I heard four open," AJ accused. "Nope. You must have heard the can being tossed into the swamp," Scorpion assured him. As AJ got closer to the shore, he heard two more pops. He turned around just in time to see the Scorpion chug the last Croc down. "Hey!" AJ yelled, "All the beer is gone." "It's your fault for trusting me, AJ. You know I'm a liar and a alcoholic. Why did you trust me?" Scorpion said accusingly. "Because you said you've changed and wouldn't do it." "But I was lying when I said I didn't lie anymore," Scorpion explained. "So you fell for it. Liars don't change they just lie about lying." AJ got real mad and swam quickly toward the shore, but made a hard left. He saw Froggy Dawgy, the bullfrog swamp police. He picked up the scorpion and threw him toward Froggy. The scorpion hit the ground, bounced up, and staggered a few times. The policefrog saw him staggering and threw him in the swamp jail for public intoxication. AJ and the scorpion's girlfriend made it to The Swamplands just in time for the party. The moral to this story is either "screw someone over and your girlfriend may be the one gettin' screwed...but not by you" or "he who lies about lying gets thrown in da swamp pokey." CHOMP ON!!!! Everyone!!! Don't worry, AJ never messes with a scorpion's woman!!!
